Divaris leases more than 93,000 square feet of retail space in Richmond

Divaris Real Estate Inc. (DRE), based out of Virginia Beach, announced four retail leases totaling 93,544 square feet of space in the metropolitan Richmond area.  DRE’s Richmond office handled the negotiations.

The largest transaction was for Gabe’s (Gabriel Brothers), a department store that signed a 57,599-square-foot lease at the Victorian Square Shopping Center at 1103 Hull Street Rd. in Chesterfield County.  Gabe’s offers clothing, footwear, home, accessories and other departments. DRE’s John Madures and Brett McNamee handled the lease on behalf of the center’s landlord, Wharton Realty Group. Other tenants in Victorian Square include Ashley Furniture, Dollar Tree, Empire Beauty School and Hair Cuttery.

In other deals for DRE:

Planet Fitness leased 19,412 square feet of retail space at Victorian Square Shopping Center.  Madures and DRE’s Read Goode represented the landlord in lease negotiations. 

Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW) leased 15,000 square feet of space at Willow Lawn Shopping Center in Richmond.  McNamee handled lease negotiations on behalf of the landlord, Federal Realty Investment Trust. DRE represents DSW in its search for new locations throughout Virginia.
