DISYS names CFO and treasurer

McLean-based staffing firm Digital Intelligence Systems LLC named Philip Monti as its chief financial officer and treasurer of the combined enterprise of DISYS and Signature Consultants, DISYS announced Wednesday.

He will oversee financial operations and management of the enterprise, building on his former position at Signature Consultants, a Florida-based IT staffing firm that DISYS acquired in April.

DISYS CEO Mahfuz Ahmed said in a statement, “Philip is a well-respected CFO and decisive leader. … He played a critical role throughout the process and execution of our successful partnership with Signature. We could not be more pleased to have him take on this role and look forward to the continued success our combined enterprise can achieve.”

Before joining Signature in 2014, Monti, a certified public accountant, was the corporate controller and divisional CFO for staffing firm MPS Group Inc., now owned by Adecco Group. Before that, he was the senior vice president of corporate finance and planning at sales and marketing firm Acosta.

Monti holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in accounting with a tax concentration from the University of North Florida.
