Dewberry has hired Kevin Pennock as a senior project manager in its land planning and development department.

He joins the firm at a time it is expanding its land planning and design services for education, government, economic development and commercial clients.

Pennock previously was a senior project manager for Richmond-based Timmons Group.

He holds a master’s degree in urban planning from Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelor’s in civil engineering from Virginia Tech.

Dewberry is a Fairfax-based consulting firm. It has more than 50 locations and employs more than 2,000 people.
