Ferrum College and Danville Community College (DCC) have signed an articulation agreement for DCC students who earn an associate’s degree in administration of justice. The agreement stipulates that Ferrum will guarantee acceptance of these students into its criminal justice degree program. Ferrum will accept credit for DCC Administration courses at the 100 and 200 levels that students have completed with a grade of “C” or above. DCC students who complete 56 hours with a grade C or above will be admitted to Ferrum as a junior. “Two-year colleges are doing a tremendous job in encouraging so many of their students to aspire to higher goals,” Ferrum President Jennifer Braaten said in a statement. “Our objective at Ferrum is to help facilitate a smooth transition between schools for these transfer students, and this collaboration with Danville Community College will help achieve that aim.”
