Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer reports that it has surpassed the $1 billion mark in transactional volume through October of this year; exceeding total volume of $1.15 billion for the entire year of 2012.
The firm’s ten Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina offices completed 116 lease transactions totaling 751,592 square feet with a transactional value of more than $94 million during the month of October. Industrial building transactions of 385,558 square feet accounted for the largest amount of space leased. Office and retail leases amounted to 236,954 and 129,080 square feet respectively.
In addition, Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer reported 20 sale transactions in the month of October totaling more than a half million square feet and more than $64 million in sales volume. Overall, year-to-date volume exceeds $1,218,000,000.
