Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer has opened an office in Charlottesville. It’s located at 600 East Water St. in the old train station building,  one block off the Downtown Mall.

John Pritzlaff, vice president, joined Thalhimer in October 2014 and has focused solely on commercial real estate services in and around the Charlottesville area.  With the opening of its new office, Thalhimer recently added a broker in Charlottesville, Jenny Stoner, who will focus on sales and leasing of retail properties throughout the region.

Since entering the Charlottesville market, Thalhimer said it has completed more than 120 sale and lease transactions, totaling more than 1.34 million square feet and with more than $84.3 million in value.

Notable transactions include the sale of the historic Monticello Dairy building, sale of The Gleason Building on Garrett Street and the investment sale of the CVS ground lease on Seminole Trail. The firm also handled the 100 percent building lease-up of Uncommon to Hardywood Park Craft Brewery and Purvelo.

Thalhimer also represents, for sale or lease, more than 800,000 square feet of commercial properties in the Charlottesville area.  These properties include Barracks Row, Hollymead Town Center and The Shops at Stonefield.
