San Francisco-based Shorenstein Properties LLC has awarded Cushman & Wakefield the exclusive agency leasing assignment for 1875 K Street NW, a 178,000-square foot class A office building in Washington’s Central Business District.

The addition of the building increases C&W’s Washington area portfolio of leased and/or managed properties to more than 20.9 million square feet, the company said in a press release Tuesday.

Cushman & Wakefield’s leasing team on the assignment includes Brian Raher, executive vice president; Scott Russi, senior director; and Josh Kreider, associate.

1875 K Street NW is located on the northeast corner of 19th and K Streets NW in Washington’s Golden Triangle Business Improvement District. The building includes ground-floor retail and a corner tower that extends from street level to a rooftop penthouse. According to Cushman and Wakefield, the LEED gold-certified property is currently 68% occupied.

Shorenstein, a privately owned real estate firm, owns and manages 23.6 million square feet of office properties.
