CrossCountry Consulting acquires California advisory firm

McLean-based business gains 200 employees

McLean-based business advisory firm announced this week that it has acquired California , adding 200 employees.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, and CrossCountry Consulting did not respond to requests for comment. According to the company, the purchase strengthens CrossCountry’s national footprint in the West Coast.

Founded in 2003, CNM specializes in accounting, transactions, risk advisory and business transformation. More than 200 CNM employees are spread across offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, New York and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Its clients range from growth and mid-market companies to multinational Fortune 500 companies.

“This is a pivotal step in our growth strategy, significantly expanding our ability to support clients in the Southern California market and enhancing our core solutions for the Office of the CFO,” CrossCountry Consulting Co-Founder and Managing Partner Erik Linn said in a statement. “With teams and offices stretching from coast to coast, we’re especially pleased to join forces with an organization whose values and collaborative culture so closely align with ours. CNM’s managing partner, Sanjay Sheth, will become the managing partner of CrossCountry’s Los Angeles office and Southern California market leader.
