Crescent Hotels & Resorts, a Fairfax-based hotel management company, has promoted Michael Metcalf to chief operating officer.
Metcalf has more than 25 years of hotel investment, underwriting, asset management and operations experience.
Metcalf began his career at Crescent more than 10 years ago and has held various positions within the company including vice president of business development, senior vice president of operations and executive vice president.
In his new role, he will be more engaged with Crescent’s capital partner relations, hotel investment strategy, asset management oversight and securing management contracts.
Crescent operates more than 100 hotels, resorts and conference centers in the U.S and Canada under the brand families of Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and IHG. Crescent also operates a collection of independent hotels and resorts.
