HHHunt has started construction on Spring Arbor of Salisbury Memory Care in Midlothian.
This $16 million project in Chesterfield County represents the company’s first community dedicated solely to memory care. Scheduled to open in fall 2016, the 48,275-square-foot building is adjacent to Spring Arbor of Salisbury, one of HHHunt’s six existing senior-living communities in Virginia.
HHHunt opened its first senior living community in North Carolina in 1992. Today the company owns and manages 21 communities in Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland, with more in various stages of development.
“The demand for memory care has been increasing at a rapid pace,” Sally Sperberg, executive director for Spring Arbor of Salisbury, said in a statement. “This new community will be able to accommodate 48 residents …”
According to HHHunt, the community will focus on resident activities, such as art and music programs.
