Falls Church-based IT services company Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) has completed its acquisition of the consulting firm Fruition Partners.
Chicago-based Fruition is now a subsidiary of CSC and will do business as Fruition Partners, a CSC company. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
CSC said the deal bolsters its ability to offer customers an expanded range of cloud-based service-management solutions to improve their business results through organizational efficiency and lower operating costs.
Company officials said the combination of Fruition and CSC creates “an extraordinary leadership position in the fast-growing enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) market. It also addresses growing client demand for better, faster and more efficient service-management capabilities across process, applications and infrastructure – both traditional and cloud-enabled.”
Fruition has operations in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and South America.
CSC has approximately 70,000 employees and reported revenue of $11.7 billion for the 12 months ended July 3.
