Parmenter Realty Partners has selected Richmond-based Commonwealth Commercial Partners (CCP) to take over leasing for its Richmond properties, including the 458,000-square-foot SunTrust Center.
The tallest multi-tenant office building in Richmond, SunTrust Center has more than 90,000 square feet of Class A office space available for lease in the downtown Central Business District.
Russell Wyatt, a senior vice president and partner with CCP, said SunTrust Center is well positioned and that Parmenter, a real estate investment, management and development company based in Miami, is a landlord that’s focused on making deals.
“Parmenter is a landlord that gets it and is prepared to structure very attractive rates compared with the other Class A leasing options, such as Riverfront Plaza and James Center,” Wyatt said in a statement.
He expects supply in the downtown area to tighten as legacy buildings such as First National Bank and the 700 Centre are converted into apartments. Another major project that will begin soon is Shamin Hotels' conversion of the 18-story 700 Building at 700 East Main Street into two hotels.
Wyatt, along with Jamie Galanti, will head the leasing push for SunTrust Center. Located at NInth and Main Streets, the building offers parking, meeting facilities, an on-site Starbucks, banking, a food court, security and views of the James River and state Capitol.
In addition to SunTrust Center, CCP will also take the lead in leasing the 130,000-square-foot Mutual Building at 909 East Main St.
Besides its headquarters office in Richmond, Commonwealth Commercial Partners has offices in Hampton Roads and Nashville, Tenn.
