CoConstruct is expanding its Albemarle County operation, creating 69 new jobs.
The company provides a web-based project management system for customer homebuilders and remodelers. It plans to spend $485,000 on the expansion.
Founded in 2004, CoConstruct provides custom home builders and remodelers with web-based and mobile apps to streamline the home-building process. The company focuses on simplifying the key areas of selections, scheduling, change orders, client/vendor communication management, to-do and warranty item management, files and photos.
“My wife and I chose to relocate to Albemarle County because of the great quality of life—outdoor activities, top-ranked schools, and cultural opportunities,” CoConstruct Founder and CEO Donny Wyatt said in a statement. “And when our experience building a home prompted the idea for CoConstruct, it was only natural to want to establish the company here. As we rapidly grow our team, we leverage those same benefits of the area to help us import talent from across the country.”
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership will support CoConstruct’s job creation through its Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP). Under the program, the company is eligible for $1,000 per job, up to total of $69,000.
