Coca-Cola Consolidated has signed a long-term lease to expand its 75,000-square-foot distribution facility in Roanoke. The 36,000-square-foot expansion will boost the total size of the company’s space at 4022 Integrity Drive to 111,000 square feet.
According to Poe & Cronk Real Estate Group, the investment is valued at $9 million and will result in 125 jobs being relocated to the facility.
Dennis Cronk, Poe & Cronk’s president and CEO, represented the landlord, Roanoke Gateway LLC, in the original lease and the expansion.
In another deal for Poe & Cronk, BB&T Bank plans to build a branch in Salem at the entrance of Spartan Square Shopping Center. The property was acquired with a long-term ground lease negotiated on behalf of the tenant by
Jacob Quesinberry and Cronk of Poe & Cronk. BB&T will begin construction on the branch this fall.
Poe & Cronk also was chosen as the exclusive leasing and management firm for First Campbell Square at 210 First St. SW in downtown Roanoke.
Tenants include several public general administration tenants and the law offices of Johnson, Ayers and Matthews PLC.
