Chesapeake Regional Medical Center has appointed John L. Skeans vice president and chief financial officer. Before joining the Chesapeake hospital, Skeans was executive vice president and chief financial officer at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis.
He holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., and is completing graduate studies at the University of South Florida.
Chesapeake Regional Medical Center serves southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. The center employs more than 600 physicians and is one of the busiest hospitals in Hampton Roads, according to a news release.
