Charlottesville-based Commonwealth Assisted Living is changing its name to Commonwealth Senior Living.
The company said the new brand better communicates the company’s reach in providing all levels of care offered, including independent living, assisted living and memory care.
The new name became effective Tuesday.
Founded in 2002, Commonwealth has grown to 23 communities with more than 1,500 residents and employing just over 1,500 employees.
