McLean-based Chain Bridge Bank, National Association has named a former Wells Fargo executive as its president.
Samuel A. Schreiber was most recently a regional executive vice president for Wells Fargo and led its business banking team in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
As president, Schreiber will lead the bank’s commercial and consumer business strategy and development activities as well as its loan, deposit and mortgage divisions. He also will join the board of directors for Chain Bridge Bank and its holding company, Chain Bridge Bancorp Inc.
Schreiber is a member of several boards including the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.
Chain Bridge Bank N.A. was founded in 2007. The organization had $306 million in total assets as of Sept. 30, 2013.
