RICHMOND Legislation to require that elementary and middle school students have 30 minutes of physical activity each day cleared the Senate Education and Health Committee Thursday to the surprise of several senators. The measure from Sen. John Miller was sent to the Senate Finance Committee after a motion to table his SB 993 failed.
