Bike tailgating measure clings to life in Va. House

RICHMOND A legislative effort to outlaw tailgating bicycles is clinging to life in the General Assembly. A Senate-passed bill (SB1060) from Sen. Bryce Reeves, R-Fredericksburg, approved by a House subcommittee today, would add bikes and other non-motorized vehicles to the list of those that cannot be followed “more closely than is reasonable and prudent.”
