McDonnell attends Va. Beach tower groundbreaking

VIRGINIA BEACH Gov. Bob McDonnell attended the ceremonial groundbreaking today of Town Center's newest tower. McDonnell praised the $95 million project for bringing jobs and economic opportunities, noting he had watched Town Center's progress while he lived and worked in the city. "This is a major step forward for the region," he said.

That investment from consumer goods company Unilever - set to be announced at a local ceremony with Gov. Bob McDonnell has emphatically informed federal officials that Virginia has not approved Medicaid expansion, despite claims to the contrary.
