German firm picks Va. Beach for U.S. headquarters

VIRGINIA BEACH A German company will receive $320,000 in state and local dollars to move its U.S. headquarters to the city. PRUFREX, a producer of digital ignition systems and electronic control units, plans to invest $7.33 million to create a manufacturing facility along the Lynnhaven business corridor and add 60 new jobs. Its main headquarters are in Cadolzburg, Germany.

Cuccinelli to hold town hall tonight in Va. Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli will hold a town hall meeting tonight as part of a series of public meetings around the state. The Republican candidate for governor will hold the meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza, 4453 Bonney Road, according to a news release. The public meeting is free.
