Andrew J. Peden has been promoted to executive vice president, real estate lending at Tysons Corner-based Cardinal Bank.
As executive vice president, Peden becomes a voting member of Cardinal Bank’s officers’ loan committee.
In his new role, he will focus on acquisitions, construction financing, and commercial development.
Peden previously was senior vice president and market executive for the Commercial Real Estate division of the Bank where he led the business development efforts of a team of lenders and business development officers. He has more than 14 years of diverse real estate lending experience, three years of which were spent as a credit analyst at the start of his banking career.
Peden is a graduate of the University of Richmond, the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management, and Leadership Fairfax’s Emerging Leaders Institute.
