Devaki Baker comes from Team Verso, which she founded in 2015

Walnut, California-based tolling-as-a-service company VeriToll LLC announced Thursday that its new CEO is Devaki Baker, who will lead the company’s sales, product investment and partnerships from Reston.
VeriToll has offices in Virginia, Indiana and California. The company’s plans to lease a new headquarters location in Reston were put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a VeriToll spokesperson says.
Baker was most recently with technology consulting company Team Verso, which she founded in 2015. There she developed software-as-a-service offerings and worked with toll road operator Transurban. Before founding Team Verso, she was head of Latin America for Reston-based tech company Perfect Sense Digital, leading technology strategy.
A first-generation immigrant from Mexico, Baker earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. Baker also serves as a board member of nonprofit organization ThinkersDo.org, which offers learning services to socioeconomic minorities.
