IT government contractor BRTRC Federal Solutions of Vienna announced Monday its purchase of SecureForce LLC, a company specializing in cybersecurity and big data capabilities to government agencies.
SecureForce's customers include Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), NASA, and Freddie Mac, among others.
“We are excited about bringing SecureForce into the BRTRC portfolio – not only does it expand our capabilities in the area of cyber, big data and analytics, it also gives us access to new markets like the VA, TSA and the intelligence community,” said Larry McDonald, chief operating officer and one of the four owners of BRTRC.
The deal is the first acquisition by BRTRC and is the culmination of a two-year working relationship with SecureFuture, which is based in Sterling. Terms of the acquisition were not diclosed
