Roanoke-based Branch & Associates Inc., a major construction management firm, has changed its name to Branch Builds Inc.
“This rebranding represents the strong clarity we have around not only the amazing buildings for which we’re most often recognized, but also the many intangible things we must build to have successful projects; things like teamwork, transparency, trust, commitment, and accountability, ” Craig Floyd, the president of Branch Builds, said in a statement.
Branch Builds is subsidiary of Branch Group Inc., which was founded in 1963 in Roanoke. Branch Builds has offices in Roanoke, Richmond, Herndon and Charlotte, N.C.
The company has handled projects in a variety of sectors, including higher education, K-12, multifamily, municipality/government, health care, hospitality and senior living.
Revenue is up 50 percent and the number of employees has risen 40 percent since 2013, company said.
The firm’s Virginia clients include Virginia Tech, Virginia Military Institute, Northern Virginia Community College, James Madison University and Fairfax County.
