Since Hart’s 2012 appointment as president and CEO of CAF America, the organization has seen exponential growth, making more than $3 billion in grants in the U.S. and 135 other countries around the world.

CAF America works with philanthropists seeking to support charitable organizations around the world, providing back office support for grantmaking and maintaining a network of vetted charity partners. Individuals, corporations, nonprofits and their advisers use the organization to develop, manage and monitor their philanthropic endeavors.

An internationally recognized speaker, Hart has more than 30 years’ experience working with risk management and global philanthropy regulatory frameworks. He is the founder of the ePhilanthropy Foundation and GreenNonprofits Org.

Hart has co-authored several books, including “People to People Fundraising: Social Networking and Web 2.0 for Charities,” “Internet Management for Nonprofits,” and “Fundraising on the Internet.”

He holds a master’s degree in public administration from the State University of New York Brockport. Hart also serves as president and CEO of CAF Canada and is a member of the CAF American Donor Fund’s board of directors.
