Leidos receives $291M Navy contract

Reston-based Fortune 500 contractor Leidos has received a $291 million follow-on contract for work with the Navy’s Program Executive Offices’ Integrated Warfare Systems directorate, according to a news release.

The single award, cost-plus-fixed-free contract includes a one-year base period with a four additional one-year option periods. Under the contract, Leidos is expected to perform support services to include shipboard modernization, curriculum development, training, depot support, technical data, maintenance planning and management. Work will be performed worldwide.

Headquartered in Washington D.C., the Integrated Warfare Systems directorate develops, delivers and sustains operationally dominant combat systems for sailors.

“We are honored to continue our long-standing relationship with PEO IWS,” said Will Johnson, Leidos’ senior vice president of logistics and mission support. “This award will enable Leidos to accelerate our support of their critical mission through modernization, domain expertise and innovation.”
