The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber has promoted four of its staff, the chamber announced in a news release Thursday.
Wendy Zelazny is now vice president of membership, Carley Swaim Walker is now vice president of programs and events, Stacey Hicks is now operations manager and Ellen Ball is now senior director of finance.
Zelazny has been with the chamber for more than four years and has a background in film production and “modernized the Chamber’s ribbon-cutting services to provide an enhanced experience and marketing for business celebrations,” according to the chamber.
Walker joined the chamber a year ago after relocating to Fredericksburg from Greensboro, North Carolina. She was executive director of Volunteer Center of the Triad for eight years and now leads the Workforce Intern Expo.
Hicks has been with the chamber for nine years, supporting the CEO, finance department and other aspects of the organization.
Ball joined the chamber in January 2020 and took advantage of the office closure during the pandemic to modernize many of the organization’s processes.
