Bio-Cat, a company that provides enzyme technology, is expanding at its Troy location in Louisa County with a new 15,000-square-foot building.
The $2.5 million expansion is in addition to a 58,000-square-foot building where the company is currently located at 9117 Three Notch Road.
Chris Shuler, CEO of Bio-Cat, said in a statement that the expansion “will allow for growth in our capabilities in blending and packaging of enzymes to meet our customer needs. “
As part of the expansion, Bio-Cat said it plans to hire additional employees by the end of the year.
