Baskervill expands in Northern Virginia

Baskervill, an architecture, engineering, and interior design firm based in Richmond, is expanding its footprint with the opening of a Northern Virginia office.  The company said the new Tysons location will help it serve existing clients and creates opportunity for growth in the firm’s largest market segments: health care, hospitality and corporate office.

The office, at 8300 Boone Boulevard in the heart of the Tysons area, provides easy access from the firm’s home in Richmond, as well as to downtown Washington, D.C., and Baltimore.  The company, the firm has two people working in the office, with design production supported by the Richmond staff.

“We are excited about making this move,” Baskervill President Robert J. Clark, said in a statement. “It’s something we’ve been discussing, as our healthy client base in the Northern Virginia and Maryland area continues to grow. “

Recent Baskervill projects in the Washington metropolitan area include the Residence Inn by Marriott Pentagon City, Hyatt Dulles, the Kimpton Lorien Hotel & Spa in Old Town Alexandria, multiple projects for Wells Fargo, as well as confidential work for government clients.
