Occam's Razor Technologies provides technology and software solutions to defense clients

Avantus Federal, a McLean-based IT defense contractor and NewSpring Holdings company, has acquired Reston-based software company Occam’s Razor Technologies LLC, it announced Thursday.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Avantus CEO Andy Maner said in a statement, “For more than 10 years, Occam’s Razor Technologies has built a company committed to developing innovative solutions for its clients. … ORT’s mix of elite cyber and software capabilities and its dedication to employee growth are just two of the … reasons this company is a great fit with Avantus’ capabilities and offerings and will fuel combined growth at our shared and new customers.”
ORT, founded in 2011, is a software engineering and consulting firm that works with defense and intelligence clients.
