RICHMOND A House committee this afternoon approved a ban on bond agents having sex with their customers. The effort by the Virginia Bail Agents Association was as a result of several cases in which bondsmen traded sex for bail or coerced their customers into having sex with them by threatening to revoke their bond and return them to jail, said Micheal Donovan, a lobbyist for the association.

Va. House panel passes drone moratorium bill
RICHMOND A bill to ground unmanned aircraft in the Commonwealth passed a House panel this evening. The House Courts of Justice Committee approved sending HB2012 to the House floor by a 9-4 vote. The bill prohibits state and local law enforcement from flying drone aircraft until after July 1, 2014.
