AT&T said Tuesday it has invested nearly $950 million during the past three years to enhance its wireless and wired networks in Virginia.
In 2014, AT&T made 350 wireless network upgrades and built 63 new cell sites in Virginia. Notable improvements in 2014 included LTE cell site upgrades in Richmond, Arlington, Fairfax and Alexandria.
AT&T also added LTE service in several Virginia markets, including Blacksburg, Danville, Harrisonburg and Lynchburg.
Dallas-based AT&T offers wireless, high-speed Internet, voice and cloud-based services.
