In January, following a reorganization of the Swiss food company, Presley went from serving as president and CEO of the U.S. division of Nestlé to leading its North American zone and landing a seat on the company’s executive board. North America is Nestlé’s largest market, with annual sales of $26.59 billion.
It’s the latest chapter in Presley’s 25-year career with the company that makes everything from Lean Cuisine meals to Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough. In 1997, Presley, a graduate of the University of South Florida, began as a controller for a Nestlé beverage factory in Suffolk. He went on to hold a series of leadership positions before being named chief financial officer for Nestlé USA in 2013 and CEO in 2018.
During the recent national baby formula shortage, Presley took an active role, with Nestlé organizing formula shipments from Europe. “People from across Nestlé have worked around the clock to be part of the solution,” Presley told DairyReporter.com in May.
