In November 2021, Colliers announced Adams’ promotion from regional president to executive managing director for Colliers’ Virginia and Raleigh, North Carolina, brokerages. Adams has more than 27 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry as an investment sales broker, project manager and consultant.
Before he joined Colliers, Adams was regional president with CBRE and oversaw its offices in Central and Southeast Virginia and North Carolina. He also was a senior real estate consultant in Kenneth Leventhal & Co.’s Washington, D.C., office.
Adams is a board member for The Honor Foundation, a career transition program for U.S. Special Operations Forces. He co-founded a commercial real estate academic initiative at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and serves on the executive advisory council for Old Dominion University’s Strome College of Business.
