Sweet became global CEO of Accenture in 2019 and assumed chairmanship of the Fortune Global 500 professional services company in September 2021. Previously, she served as CEO of Accenture’s business in North America, the company’s largest geographic market. Before that position, she was Accenture’s general counsel, secretary and chief compliance officer for five years.

Before joining Accenture in 2010, Sweet was a partner for 10 years in the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. She serves on the World Economic Forum board and is chair at Catalyst Inc., an organization that promotes women in the workplace. She also serves on the board of trustees for the Center for Strategic & International Studies and for the Marriott Foundation for People with Disabilities – Bridges from School to Work.

A graduate of Claremont McKenna College and Columbia Law School, Sweet has been listed as one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business and is among Forbes’ 100 Most Powerful Women.
