RetailData has grown since Blondin took over as president and CEO in 2020, five years after joining as vice president of strategic initiatives. As retailers have transitioned from brick-and-mortar locations to e-commerce operations, RetailData also has evolved to provide analysis on digital pricing and promotion strategies.

In 2021, Blondin, who is also president and CEO of RetailData’s parent holding company, spearheaded the launch of a sister retail intelligence and consulting firm, Intrics, designed to provide market insights and support for retailers struggling to define and execute their omnichannel market strategies. Also last year, RetailData acquired Loginworks, an e-commerce data extraction and software development company.

“Retailers who have embraced the omnichannel market have shown significant improvements in their market share during the pandemic,” Blondin says. “The next chapter will be defined by those who can enrich their profitability while minimizing the impact on their consumer brand image and related market share.”

Blondin earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from Arizona State University.
