Donohue assumed a leadership role at ADP’s Norfolk location in January 2021 after having served as director of procurement and global sourcing from 2016 to 2020. One of Norfolk’s largest private sector employers, with a regional customer service center established there in 2016, ADP offers payroll, human resources and benefits services to more than 1 million business clients and employs about 60,000 people.
Donohue is an alumnus of Tidewater Community College and Old Dominion University, which offers the ADP HCM Academy, a human resources management concentration, a collaboration between ODU’s Strome College of Business and ADP.
Before joining ADP, Donohue worked as manager of procurement and subcontracts at Verizon Business in Ashburn and served in the Navy from 1994 to 1998. At ADP, he co-chairs the company’s military business resource group. Donohue is also a trustee for the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.
