An industrial water-treatment company founded in 1968, ChemTreat promoted Collier to president in July 2021.
Now owned by Danaher Corp., ChemTreat is one of the largest specialty chemical companies in the United States and employs about 2,000 people across the Americas. Collier succeeded Steve Hire, ChemTreat’s previous president, who retired after 11 years at the helm.
With locations in Canada, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Brazil, ChemTreat is part of Fortune 200-listed Danaher’s environmental and applied solutions sector.
Collier, who worked in marketing for ChemTreat from 2012 to 2018, took a two-year break from the company, serving as president of McCrometer Inc., another Danaher holding, from 2018 to 2020. He returned to ChemTreat as its senior vice president of marketing and technology.
A graduate of Georgia Tech and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, Collier served in the U.S. Army for four years and retired as an infantry officer
