The MACH37 Cyber Accelerator has launched 17 new cybersecurity companies in its first 16 months, the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) announced Tuesday.
The accelerator has hosted three cohort sessions and brought more than 300 investors to its Demo Days since it opened in September 2013, according to CIT.
MACH37 features a 90-day program that allows participants to test their ideas and products before commercializing them. Participants receive a $50,000 investment to launch their companies.
At the end of the session, MACH37 holds a Demo Day, where companies pitch their companies to investors, venture capital firms, technology companies and angel investors from Washington, D.C., California, Massachusetts and Georgia. The most recent Demo Day attracted 186 investors.
The application for the spring 2015 cohort is now open at www.mach37.com.
