An expert in tax and corporate law, Aghdami works with high net-worth individuals, middle-market business owners, institutional fiduciaries and charitable organizations on tax planning for wealth transfer, business succession, income tax planning and fiduciary litigation.
A graduate of the University of Virginia and the Wake Forest University School of Law, Aghdami received his Master of Laws degree in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995. He began his career at Florance Gordon Brown, becoming a partner in 1997. Two years later, he moved to Williams Mullen.
A member of the board of trustees for the Southern Federal Tax Institute, Aghdami is a past chair of the Virginia Bar Association’s wills, trusts and estates section and the American Bar Association’s tax section’s fiduciary income tax committee.
In the community, Aghdami is vice chair of Venture Richmond’s board of directors, and a past chair of the Community Foundation for a greater Richmond. He also is a past board member for the Medical College of Virginia Foundation.
