A nearly 40-year veteran of his firm, the second largest in the state, Granger focuses on business transactions, with a specific focus on mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions. He has substantial experience working with both public and private U.K.-based companies in the U.S. as well as multinational acquisitions.
He joined then-Hunton & Williams in 1985 after graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law, and in 2017, he became managing partner of its largest office. In 2018, Hunton & Williams became Hunton Andrews Kurth through a merger and now has about 900 attorneys worldwide, including nearly 200 in Virginia.
Among his other activities, Granger serves on the board for Venture Richmond, and he volunteers with Richmond’s Second Baptist Church. He says he’s happiest being with his family during holidays or at the beach and enjoys unwinding from the workday with his wife, Anne.
