As president of Hirschler and head of the firm’s litigation section, Paulk brings deep and broad experience in the construction industry, advising public and private owners, developers, contractors and subcontractors.
Paulk graduated from the University of Mary Washington (then Mary Washington College) with honors and received her law degree magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law, and she joined Hirschler in 2002. In 2018, she was named the firm’s first woman president and leads about 90 attorneys in three Virginia offices. Hirschler moved its Northern Virginia office last fall to 1676 International Drive in Tysons.
Outside of work, Paulk is a champion ultra-distance swimmer who has completed the “Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming” — swimming the circumference of Manhattan and crossing the Catalina Channel and the English Channel — twice.
