Dacquino, who has overseen the $1.6 billion federal contractor with about 9,000 employees since 2017, retired as Serco’s CEO in September 2021 but retains his position as chairman. He was succeeded as CEO by Tom Watson, senior vice president for Serco’s North American defense business.
In September 2021, Serco was one of 55 companies to land spots on a $46 billion Air Force contract. Also last year, Serco’s British parent company acquired defense contractor Whitney, Bradley & Brown Inc. for $295 million, increasing the scope of Serco’s defense capabilities.
Before joining Serco, Dacquino was president and CEO of Skylink, an aviation and logistics service provider with international operations. He serves on the board for the Greater Washington Board of Trade.
HOBBY/PASSION: I like to be physically active, which included mountain climbing up until a few years ago. Now I like to get out and compete in Spartan races with Serco employees.
