Formerly known as Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services Inc., the private security and investigation services firm rebranded in January 2021 as Paragon Systems Inc., which had been a subsidiary of the company founded in 2013.

Sabatino was named CEO of Securitas just a year earlier, though he is a veteran of the company, having joined as a management trainee in 1991 at a subsidiary. He worked his way up the ranks through locations in New Jersey, Texas, New York and California, where he oversaw the Pacific region for 11 years, growing it to become the company’s largest, with more than 15,000 employees. In 2015, Sabatino became president of the North American region, a role that took him back to New Jersey. In that role, he was responsible for strategy, marketing, communications, corporate development and special projects, and he helped with multiple acquisitions.

At the time of the rebrand, Sabatino noted that the company had made progress expanding its federal business. A graduate of Wagner College and the Cornell University Johnson Graduate School of Management, Sabatino leads more than 14,000 employees.
