Bon Secours-Hampton Roads has named Kate Brinn as president of Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth and Harbour View Medical Campus in Suffolk, the health care company announced Wednesday.
Brinn, a Hampton Roads native, has been with Bon Secours for approximately 15 years and has served in other leadership roles, most recently serving as vice president of service lines. She lead service line strategy and worked on business plans for the organization. She also previously worked as administrative director of operations and ambulatory services and director of clinical business development at Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News.
In her new role, she will report to Bon Secours-Hampton Roads President Amy Carrier and will be responsible for strategic leadership, growth and operations at Maryview and Harbour View.
Brinn earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and her master’s degree in health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Bon Secours-Hampton Roads is part of Bon Secours Mercy Health, which operates 11 hospitals in its Richmond and Hampton Roads markets.
