Arrow Electronics has signed a definitive agreement to acquire McLean-based immixGroup Inc.
Centennial, Colo.-based Arrow, a distributor of electronics components, hopes to close the deal at the beginning of the second quarter.
The acquisition target, immixGroup, helps IT companies do business with the government. Michael J. Long, chairman, president and CEO of Arrow, said in a statement that the acquisition would help Arrow expand into the public sector market.
The Virginia company had $1 billion in revenues in 2014.
The acquisition is expected to be 10 cents to 14 cents accretive to Arrow’s earnings per share in the first year after the deal closes.
