Armada Hoffler Properties Inc., a Virginia Beach-based real estate company that develops and owns office, retail and multifamily properties in Mid-Atlantic markets, has announced the appointment of Julie Loftus Trudell as vice president of investor relations.
Trudell will be responsible for managing relationships with the company’s shareholders and analysts. AHH went public in May following an IPO that raised $218 million.
Trudell is a financial executive with 20 years of experience in investor relations and equity research as well as corporate finance and accounting. She most recently held the position of senior vice president of investor relations at Amerigroup Corp. in Virginia Beach, a post she had for 10 years.
Before joining Amerigroup, Trudell spent five years in equity research as an associate analyst at Bank of America. She began her career in Deloitte & Touche’s retail and manufacturing audit practice in San Francisco.
