According to a recent article by Forbes.com, Washington, D.C. has the most computer science jobs in the United States, but nearby cities in Virginia weren't far behind.
Alexandria and Herndon also made it on the top 10 list, ranking No.6 and No.8, respectively. Alexandria had 2,000 computer science job listings, while Herndon had 1,700.
To compile the list, Forbes got a helping hand from Indeed.com, a job aggregation website. Indeed gathered cities with the most job postings for computer scientists. To avoid duplicates, Indeed only factored jobs listed by employers and ignored listings by staffing companies.
