Alexandria firm secures $164M Air Force contract

Alexandria-based national security contractor DCS Corp. has won a $164 million contract to support the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Fighters and Advanced Aircraft Directorate (AFLCMC/WA) and Bombers Directorate (AFLCMC/WB).

“DCS is proud to support the United States Air Force global power through this significant award,” said Larry Egbert, DCS executive vice president and Air-Sea Forces Sector manager, in a statement. “We are thrilled to deliver our technical expertise to the USAF and the Warfighter while expanding the DCS footprint in Ohio, Oklahoma, Utah and Missouri.”

Under the four-year prime contract, DCS will assist with the acquisition, fielding and sustainment for part of the Air Force fighter and bomber fleet, along with supporting foreign military sales to partner nations. DCS and partners will provide program management, engineering, cybersecurity, life-cycle logistics and program security services to help military and civilian staff.

The contract work will begin in October at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, Hill Air Force Base in Utah and Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.
